TF101 Android 4.4 KitKatt KatKiss / A501 Thors Rom Bootanimations...

Here are some bootanimations I made for me (running Android 4.4.2 KitKat KatKiss #19 / #20) and a befriendeds Acer A501 (running Thors Android 4.3.1 JB MR2 v6t8 ROM with t50 Kernel). Have fun:

The tutorials / files may be made on and for TF101 but should work on other

Rename the files to bootanimation.zip and place them wether into your /system/media/ or /data/local/ directory. Both should work. /data/local seems to override /system/media/ without overwriting the original bootanimation. You will need root access and I suggest Rootexplorer 3.1.5 or above. Earlier versions with SMB and tabbed feature crashed on long press. You could also use the ES File Explorer and enable root access under the tools options. Please be careful and / or leave a message here or at the xda-develeopers.com forum.
